The aortic arch vessel simulation – experiences by Flow-3D
Mathematical modeling using FLOW-3D
The main purpose of this work is to present the results and experience of modeling the aortic arch. The aortic aneurysm case considered is a real blood vessel. The presented results of the mathematical model describing the blood flow using Navier-Stokes equations, show the disorders of the diseased blood vessel. The FSI module was used in this model. This module was used to describe the behavior of the vessel walls. All simulations were performed using Flow3D software.
